Specialty Appliances currently offers 3 lingual bracket systems. These lingual brackets may be provided by the clinician with each case or we can supply them as requested.
The original Ormco Generation 7 lingual bracket is still used by several practitioners. This bracket features an upper anterior bite plane and is available in .018 and .022 slots.
We also use the Ormco STB lingual bracket which is a very small appliance. This bracket is very effective in anterior alignment cases and is easily applied to the lower arch due to the smaller footprint.
The other lingual system we use is the GAC MTM appliance. This is a self ligating bracket with a low profile for patient comfort.
