Upper Mini

Specialty Appliances worked with two major manufacturers to design our Mini-Palex Expander. This screw is half the size of traditional screws, while still providing 8 to 12 mm of expansion. Patient comfort, speech and swallow patterns are greatly improved with the Mini-Palex's compact design. The first molars are typically used for anchorage, and .040-inch support arms extend to the first bicuspids.
