The ball-end wrench has a unique end which allows it to be inserted into the hex screw at an angle. This facilitates clinical handling of the screws in patients where the cheeks do not allow direct access to the screws.
This wrench is easier to handle and more durable than the "L" shaped standard hex wrench.
Both the standard hex head screws and the AppleCore Screws use the same Allen wrench. The standard wrench is made with a black metal finish.
