PHD

The PHD appliance is offered as an alternative to the Pendex. This appliance utilizes an eight-millimeter expansion screw with sheaths laser welded to it, allowing the clinician to reactivate the appliance during treatment for additional distalization. The expansion phase is completed prior to starting the distalization phase. Rests or bands are utilized for additional anchorage.
